Hitch-hikers are on the Road Again – Across Asia

By on

Have you ever wanted to leave it all behind and take to the road?  Meeting people, experiencing culture first hand, and learning the ways of local life?  Ania and Jon of HitchHikersHandbook.com are doing just that and we’ll be following their journey.

They have decided to hit the road, making their way across the Asian continent – with culture their main focus.  By staying among locals, it’s their aim to learn and share elements of tradition and culture – both their own and that of the people they meet. It will be an experience in the everyday life of individuals across the continent.

Their journey will take them through Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Check out their map below.

Whether it’s something you would do yourself, or you like to read about the adventurous people who dive into grassroots, fearless travel, this is a story not to be missed.  Hit the road with Ania and Jon in 2015.

Read more about this crazy endeavour on their Hitch-Hikers Handbook website.  We are featuring their video and mission in our upcoming January 8th, 2015 edition of Digital Nomad Travel Magazine for iPad and iPhone – Click Here to go to the magazine app.
